Fabulous Villa Vacation !!
We all loved the villa and the chef Andrea was a trip highlight. Daniela was lovely whenever we saw her. The house and property are beyond describable and the whole family enjoyed every second. Thanks also for your help with advice on other things and places we were interested in. It really was the trip of a lifetime and every single person of the family felt the same way!

All I can say is WOW !!! We are all loving it here. You were so right in your description and experience we would have while staying here at Villa Maria. The owner has made us all so welcome and has been so helpful. Her home is gorgeous. We have done Lucca, Florence and Cinque Terre so far. We are exhausted by happy. Chef Valentino's dinner was spectacular. Tomorrow we have our tour that you arranged for all 26 of us, and we are looking so forward to it. Thank you for all your help, we are having a great time . We cannot do justice in words, what an incredible villa and the experience is unparalleled! The owner has been super. The food that our villa chefs are preparing has set a high bar for us, their passion for food and love for our family as overwhelmed us ( we have adopted them as you you can see in the picture of 3 generations of our family!). How can we begin to thank you for the wonderful week we have spent at this incredible villa We were able to come as a family and enjoy the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Our host is the most gracious woman we ever met. Her villa is spendid our chef Valentino and his wife Larisa were cooking 5 star meals during our stay, our family will remember this vacation for all our lives. Thank you for these memories!

The Villa exceeded expectations in every way. It was more beautiful than the photos, particularly the setting, mountains and all. The kitchen was better stocked with staples such as tea, sugar, salt pepper etc and equipment than expected. Towel service was more frequent than the once a week indicated in the introductory materials. The bedrooms were true to the photos and all spacious and comfortable. The only negative which had nothing to do with the Villa, was the location. It was further from Florence than I expected and it took nearly two hours to get to the city by train (drive to Pistoia, get tickets, train ride of 1 hr, 10 min etc). It was closer to Lucca though, which we enjoyed and Cinque Terre; a most unique experience. The owner and her translator were very helpful with suggestions and directions and were warm and friendly. She invited us all into her home before our Friday night farewell dinner for a tour and a drink- a very nice touch! The only suggestion I?d make is to be certain one of them is on hand during the week for problems. Neither was available on Thursday and part of Friday.the house chefs were also very helpful. They acted as on premises staff and translators as well, since they were in house the afternoons they prepared dinners for us at the Villa. Incidentally, they are very a talented chef/sommelier combo. The meals they prepared were excellent and I?d highly recommend them to other potential guests. The cooking session was a lot of fun and something all participants totally enjoyed. My grandson suggested that more available converters would be helpful. As for Papavero Rentals, your assistance, Patrice in familiarizing us with the area and the options for sightseeing was invaluable. Thank you for your time, effort, attention to detail and patience. It was truly appreciated. I will be pleased to recommend organization to others.
