The house itself is newly renovated, clean, and well equipped. It has a very open floor plan, which is both functional and aesthetic. The house has all the preferred amenities: it has central air conditioning ? a huge benefit in the heat. Wifi, cable, TVs, fully equipped kitchen. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The bedrooms were comfortable, each with a private bathroom (all new), sitting area, and great views.
The pool, pergola, outdoor kitchen, deck, and yard are spectacular. We spent most of our time outside near the pool day and night. There is a full workout facility on site as well.
The house sits on an actual Prosecco vineyard, with lots of space around it. We loved the privacy. If you look at an aerial view, the house is adjacent to a road ? but the design and landscaping of the property really gives it a private feeling and the road doesn't get much traffic. You can take scenic walks around the vineyard, and wander up the road to the top of the hill for spectacular views of the Italian Alps.
The area has many things to do, you just have to look for them. There are many Prosecco tours in the area, although some vineyards have down time in August due to vacations. The Dolomites are just to the north, Venice to the south, so if you want to take day trips, you have lots to choose from. You absolutely need a car.
The local towns, just a few kilometers away have whatever you need. Take out pizza, local restaurants, groceries, seafood, butchers, are all readily found. Conegliano also has a weekend market where you can find fresh produce, fish, meat, cheese, baked goods.
Services on site were good. Rosa cleaned daily, and she is as attentive as she is friendly. We felt like she was taking care of us. Germano runs the cantina at the vineyard and he stopped in occasionally to make sure we?re ok and had enough Prosecco.
Bottomline: we?d stay there again in a heartbeat. We loved being off the beaten path, where we could truly get away and chill out. We took a few day trips, went out for lunch and dinner a few times, but most of the time, we hung out at the house and the pool. We highly recommend it, unless of course you are considering the two weeks we want to be there :-)

We just love everything about the villa. It is everything we were looking for. The outside living area is where we are spending most of our time, with the beautiful outdoor kitchen, swimming pool and views of the vineyards that surround us. Thank you for all the information about the surrounding area. Will be exploring a lot of it on our bikes, plan to get to most of the outdoor weekly markets on the list you sent us, and see how many of your recommended restaurants we can get to. The villa cook is superb, the housekeeper quiet and thorough. We can not sing our praises loud enough! Thank you for a recommending Villa Valentina, it is the perfect villa for our needs! A presto!
