The Castle's Hamlet is tucked among 750 acres of woods, vineyards and centuries old olive trees, on one of the largest private family owned estates in Chianti. The little hamlet, once the village for peasants and estate workers for the magnificent medieval style castle that lies in front of it, has been beautifully restored into ten large and nicely appointed apartments. The terraces around the castle can be used as the backdrop for the perfect story-book wedding or other major events and family gatherings.
Each of the apartments has one or two bedrooms, a small kitchen and a private terrace for dining al fresco. Many of the apartments are on two floors, large walk in closets and open fireplaces. The larger apartments sleeping six have dishwashers. All have telephones, Sat TVs, and air conditioning in the bedrooms.
The spacious gardens include the large 66 foot x 26 foot swimming pool which is surrounded by outdoor furniture and pergolas. From the pool you have an expansive view of the vineyards, olive groves and natural woodlands besides the small medieval villages tucked into the landscape.
The hamlet has its own private restaurant serving fine Tuscan meals in the evening. It is also convenient to have your wedding reception on the terraces surrounding the restaurant.
The location is ideal. The Castle's Hamlet is situated near many beautiful villages and hilltowns of Tuscany and Umbria and the owners who live in the nearby castle are there to make sure you want for nothing!

ACCOMMODATIONS

Eleven apartments, a B and B farmhouse and a restaurant make up your very own village. Each apartment has been restored from what was once an actual home for the Castle's own peasants and, later, estate workers. Now you can feel a bit of history as you walk among the village and imagine what it was like so many years ago. Enjoy a glass of wine, a quiet dinner or just soak up the views, including the majestic medieval castle right in your own backyard!
