East Dorsoduro is a quiet and pretty neighborhood with shaded squares, quiet canals and picturesque residences belonging to aristocratic Venetian families and wealthy foreigners. Among the areas attractions are the wide lagoon views from the Zattere where Vista Redentore is located. Venice's famous art museums, the Accademia and the Peggy Guggenheim are located in this district. Don't forget to take a walk to the Rio San Barnaba, where you will find the Ponte dei Pugni and the small but very well known barge selling fresh fruit and vegetables. All roads lead to the lively Campo Santa Margherita, the heart of the Dorsoduro where there is a morning market filled with Venetian women purchasing their evening dinner preparations. At night it becomes the gathering place for men, women and children catching up on their day's events.
The apartment sits on the Zattere, a wide and long walkway that stretches along the southern area of the district and looks across to the island of Giudecca. On a sunny day it is a pleasure to sit at a waterside café and look out across to the Church of the Redentore and to watch the vaporettos cross back and forth between the two shores. Children play, mothers push their baby carriages and grandmothers take their evening walk.
You can enjoy all of the quiet and exciting times from your fourth floor apartment with terrace and balconies as you dine a fresco and sip your wine and look out over the canals. A very lovely apartment with dreamy views throughout the apartment.

ACCOMMODATIONS

The elevator will take you to the fourth floor where you enter the apartment onto a long entrance hall. To your left is a single bedroom with a day bed and a balcony and views of the church of Redentore. On your right are French doors leading out to a large terraced balcony with a table and chairs and a view of the Giudecca. Further down the hall across from the second French door is the entrance to the living and dining room. Down the hallway a little further is the master bedroom with a queen bed and a double bedroom with views of Santa Maria Salute and San Giorgio Maggiore. A long French balcony spans both rooms. The hallway continues to the left of the master bedroom. On your right is a bathroom with walk-in shower and a study room with a trundle bed for one and views of the Santa Maria Salute. Beyond the bedrooms is the eat-in kitchen. At the end of the hallway, one step down leads to the second large bathroom with sunken bathtub and wall mounted shower. Three more steps down to the left of the tub is the sink and toilet.
