Nestled in the hills between Todi and Perugia, this farmhouse is just charming, with typical decor of an original farmhouse. The owner has carefully chosen the furnishings to make you feel comfortable; upholstered sofas and chairs in solid and floral prints, solid wood antique tables and chairs with a softly worn finish and pastel colored walls decorated with watercolors and oil paintings. Local ceramics and tiles were used in the restoration, as well as hand cut stone steps, ornate wrought iron gates and painted eves.
From this central location, you can easily explore all areas of Umbria. Day trips can include the well known cities and towns of Perugia, Todi, Assisi, Spoleto, Orvieto, Terni, Gubbia and Lake Trasimeno, yet still offers the opportunity to visit many of the lesser known and very pretty medieval towns that date back to the Roman period. These small towns still evoke the sense of Umbrian life, where you can enjoy the life style that has been passed on through the centuries.

ACCOMMODATIONS
This large imposing stone farmhouse was recently restored carefully keeping in mind the architectural characteristics of the typical 15th century Umbrian farmhouse. The results are splendid. Casa Rosselli is a very warm and welcoming home, set between olive groves and spacious lawns and has a beautiful panoramic view of the Umbrian countryside.
GROUND FLOOR: From the entrance hall, you enter into the cozy living room with upholstered sofas and chairs centered on the fireplace and French doors leading out to the gardens. Next to the living room is the spacious and fully equipped kitchen with an antique wooden farm table that can seat twelve comfortably. There are two double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms with showers on this floor. One bedroom is wheelchair accessible.
FIRST FLOOR: A terracotta brick staircase leads to the two twin/double bedrooms with en suite bathrooms with shower. The master bedroom has a twin/double bed, a fireplace and en suite bathroom with shower. From this room, you have access to the tower via a steep wooden staircase. This small room has a living area with kitchen corner and table, and a double sofa bed. Please note that the only access to this room is from the master bedroom and is best suited for older children or good friends.
There is also a large covered terrace with a beautiful Deruta ceramic topped table that can accommodate eight people comfortably. The views continue out to the pool area and gardens. An external stone staircase leads down to the garden. At the base of the staircase is an ancient stone fountain.
