This lovely country house is located in the very heart of Chianti between Florence and Siena, a mere 35 minute drive to each. Once a fortified watch tower dating back to the XIIIth century it has been enlarged over the years into a beautiful country home, with a large garden swimming pool and hard surface tennis court. The villa is furnished in typical Tuscan style, reflecting the owner's taste and love for special objects.
Your privacy is guaranteed; a 200 meter gravel road takes you through picturesque countryside to reach this twenty acre estate producing excellent Chianti Classico wine and olive oil. The outdoor living and dining area creates a very special place for those looking for a relaxing holiday in the Chianti region where time stands still. You will also be pampered as you are looked after by a maid and her assistant who take care of cleaning the house and the full time local cook living on the premises who prepares all meals. Casa Familgia is located in an ideal position; centrally located to the most famous Chianti villages such as Castellina, Radda, Panzano and Greve - all within a fifteen minute drive.

ACCOMMODATIONS
GROUND FLOOR
Enter into a small foyer. A stairway leads to the upper floor. To your left is the breakfast room and beyond a large and fully equipped kitchen. To the right of the staircase is a large dining room with large table seating up to fourteen guests. A guest bathroom completes the floor.
FIRST FLOOR
The stairway from the ground floor leads directly into a large living area composed of a double living room, a sitting room with fireplace, a study also with fireplace and a TV room. At one end of this floor is a double bedroom with king size bed with its en suite bathroom with tub. A single room for the exclusive use of the cook completes this floor.
SECOND FLOOR
There is a double bedroom with king size bed and en suite bathroom with tub. Two more double bedrooms share a very spacious bathroom with tub.
SEPARATE ANNEX
Just ten meters from the farmhouse front door is a small annex perfect for the children and nanny. The door opens to a quaint living room, adjacent to the living room is an en suite bedroom with three single beds, ideal for children and on the opposite side of the living room is the second en suite bedroom with a French size bed, ideal for the nanny. Note that the annex is not air conditioned.
