The main square in Positano offers restaurants and shops as wellas two beaches. or visit the nearby towns of Positano, Sorrento and Amalfi.
This apartment is situated below the main street of Praiano, a small fishing village made up of houses scattered along the ridge of Monte S. Angelo down to the Mediterranean Sea. A small well-stocked supermarket is a short distance from the villa and about 400 meters away you will find coffee bars with internet facilities, a tourist information center, restaurants, a post office, shopping, and more! Visit Marina di Praia, a small and charming pebble beach surrounded by the houses and boats of local fishermen. It is dotted with small, authentic restaurants not to be missed by any seafood lover. If you do not have a problem with climbing steps, visit the small, delightful beach of "Gavitella", located at the bottom of a small rocky inlet. The beach houses a restaurant with beach facilities, open during the summer season. La Gavitella can be reached either on foot, walking along a path that includes about 350 steps, or by sea using the local ferry service! The SITA bus stop, the long distance bus that goes to Amalfi and Sorrento, and the local bus stop, the shuttle bus that goes from Praiano to Positano, are situated at the beginning of the steps leading down to this apartment.

ACCOMMODATIONS

From the coastal road, you walk along a pedestrian street for 400 meters/ 1,312 feet that includes approximately 160 steps. The apartment occupies the entire ground floor of a two story building and has two large private gardens which offer wide views of the sea. There is a communal staircase nearby that leads to a sunbathing terrace and the sea.

GROUND FLOOR
Enter directly from the garden and into the living/ dining room, fully equipped eat in kitchen and French doors that lead out to the terrace with beautiful views of the sea and coastline. A hallway from the other side of the living room leads to two bedrooms, both whitewashed and bright. Each bedroom has access through the garden. There are two hall baths, one with a Jacuzzi tub adn the other with shower.

GARDENS
There are two terraces, the first is party shaded by a bamboo pergola and surrounded by built in stone wall benches, a sitting area with sofa and chairs, dining table and barbecue. The second terrace is reached by a short staircase of 9 steps down. Here is the small swimming pool, with chairs and umbrellas and an external shower. The owner has planted a small garden which guests are encouraged to pick.
