The villa sits on an estate with an olive grove of over 1000 trees on a plateau 300 feet above sea level offering you a bird's eye view of Lake Garda. The villa was built in the 1920's by a famous architect known for other stately villas in the area. The Venetian floors are original, as are the historical fireplaces. Views of Monte Baldo and the entire southern part of Lake Gardo can been seen from the living rooms and kitchen, always reminding you that you are in a very special place.
Cultural, historic and entertainment are all an easy distance from the villa. Gardone Riveira , known as the Garden City, is a cultural city and the former home of the Italian poet Gabriele D'Annuzio. Explore Verona, famous for it's amphitheater and Opera - a must on a summer night during the afternoon a visit to the balcony of Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet is a stop for any romantic. Festivals run year round. For active lifestyles, hiking, rock climbing, horseback riding, and mountain biking. Golfing is 10 minutes drive and the beaches offer sailing , windsurfing, paragliding and kite surfing are all within a 15 minute drive. The owners are happy to arrange activities while you are at their villa.
While the villa is completely private, the adjacent villa with it's own yard, swimming pool and Jacuzzi can be rented together offering a total of 7 bedrooms, sleeping 14 guests.
